I have had many years experience in caring for children starting with casual babysitting to full time positions in childcare settings for 7 years. I have worked with varying ages of children ranging from newborn to 12 years old - I understand the differences in needs and comforts according to age. Caring for babies and children I understand naturally comes cooking and cleaning. I am confident in preparing and providing age appropriate nutritious foods for each individual child’s needs, likes, allergies, intolerances and lifestyle. I am confident in organising and setting up age appropriate experiences, for example; arts and crafts activities, environmentally friendly experiments and basic yoga. I believe in a calm and confident approach and believe all feelings are valid. I understand we all have hard days and children are no different, so offering a helping hand, cuddle or simply just talking can be helpful when children are having a hard day.
