Hi, everyone! 💕 My name is Dana. I am 27 years old and originally from Germany. I have been living here in Australia since I was 18, mainly in Sydney, and have recently relocated to Newcastle / Maitland area (Thornton, 2322). So, it’s been 9 wonderful years in Oz so far, which means I’m perfectly fluent in English as well. I have been working as an Au Pair / Live-In Nanny first in 2015 in Darwin and have absolutely loved child care work ever since. My Working-With-Children-Check, Police Check and Child First Aid + CPR are up to date and I have experience in working with children from as young as 5 years, but am definitely open to caring for children younger than that as well, should you find I am a good fit. A little about myself: The outdoors are my favourite! I am much of a people person, am generally described as outgoing, enthusiastic, gentle, polite, patient and friendly by those who know me. I like to keep active, believe in a healthy lifestyle, in being open-minded and free-spirited, and therefore do enjoy a broad range of hobbies in my life. These include playing Volleyball, drawing, cooking, gardening, walking, dancing, playing with my puppy Hazel (my adorable 2 year old toy poodle), adventuring, spending time with my husband, catching up with friends, travelling, and just about anything else that’s sporty, creative and fun! I am available for both part-time and full-time positions, as well as casual roles. I am available every day of the week, my schedule is fairly clear at the moment. I am always happy to contribute to any house hold related tasks as well, alongside of caring for your little ones primarily. That is only if you would like me to, of course. I do hold a full NSW drivers licence but am only now starting to drive in Australia again, and hence do not yet feel comfortable enough to be responsible for the transport of your children me being a rather not so well versed driver right now.
